The owners Mike & Sue Mills work tirelessly to maintain standards and yet always appear relaxed. With Mike’s Rotarian background and dry sense of humour, coupled with Sue’s charm and organizational ability they make a formidable team.

As with any team it needs a good manger and the multi talented Jeffrey fills these shoes admirably. Never too busy to help and charming with it Jeffrey is very popular with the guests.

Guests are offered exclusive comfort in relaxed surroundings of incomparable beauty. Accommodated in 34 Cape-style cottages, each individually decorated. Offerings include a comfortable lounge with fireplace, en suite bedrooms, kitchen and wide verandas with either single or double storey options with views of the wonderful Knysna lagoon or the beautiful gardens.

Each cottage has an airy living room with comfortable sofas, fireplace, ceiling fans, satellite television and DVD player, a fully equipped kitchen, and one, two or three ensuite double bedrooms.

Most guests choose to dine in the historic House enjoying superb cuisine and Cape wines against the backdrop of Knysna lagoon. This is a perfect spot to explore the offerings of Knysna and the Garden Route, or too simply relax.
